Baseball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 19-0 to the Collinsville Cardinals. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 10-2 to the Cardinals when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Collinsville, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Collinsville beat Edison by a score of 16-1 on Tuesday.
