Volleyball Game Preview: El Rancho Dons vs. Whittier Cardinals

The El Rancho Dons will challenge the Whittier Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (El Rancho has six straight wins, Whittier has ten straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

El Rancho had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Santa Fe on Thursday. The Dons put the hurt on the Chiefs with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Whittier lost 3-0 to California on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 25-11.

El Rancho pushed their record up to 16-3-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Whittier, their loss dropped their record down to 6-18.
