Volleyball Recap: Jencee Foster's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Adams Central over Norwell

Adams Central lost against Norwell back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Flying Jets fell 3-1 to the Knights.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 14-25, 25-17.

Adams Central's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jencee Foster, who had 18 digs. Brianna Pruitt was another key player, getting six digs and three aces.

Autumn Lee was nothing short of spectacular for Norwell: she had 13 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Lee has posted since September 4th. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubryn Keller, who had 11 digs.

Adams Central has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season. As for Norwell, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record this season.

Adams Central will square off against South Adams at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Norwell, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Bellmont on the 30th.
