Soccer Recap: Empire Comes Up Short

Empire lost against Flowing Wells back in February of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Empire Ravens fell 3-1 to the Flowing Wells Caballeros. The Ravens' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Addisen Campbell, who's now up to two this season.

Empire's loss dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Flowing Wells, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Empire will venture away from home to square off against Catalina at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Empire is facing Catalina at the right time seeing as Catalina is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Flowing Wells, they will head out to take on Desert View at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
