Recap: Providence School Stallions vs. Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors
The Providence School Stallions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Trinity Christian Academy 69-17 on the road. Providence School has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.
Providence School found their leader in underclassman Ellie Vogelsang, who scored 16 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Vogelsang has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Miley Dill, who scored eight points.
Providence School pushed their record up to 19-2 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points per game. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.
Providence School will be playing in front of their home fans against San Jose Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trinity Christian Academy, Trinity Christian Academy and Palatka will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Palatka presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Trinity Christian Academy in Florida (Palatka is ranked 263rd, while Trinity Christian Academy is ranked 536th).
