Recap: Childress Bobcats vs. Wall Hawks
The Childress Bobcats and the Wall Hawks squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Childress Bobcats had to settle for second. They took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks. Childress' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Drake Rabe threw for 149 yards and two touchdowns. Mark Willis was his top target, picking up 69 receiving yards.
Wall got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nathan Pepper out in front who rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown.
Childress' loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Wall, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
Childress does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wall will take on Roosevelt at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Roosevelt's defense has only allowed 16.2 points per game this season, so Wall's offense will have their work cut out for Wall.
