            Softball Recap: Richton Rebels vs. Bay Springs Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            Richton won the last time they faced Bay Springs and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Rebels walked away with  an   8-4  victory over the Bulldogs.
 Brayleigh Parker spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and two unearned) runs on 11 hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in nine consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Eliza Kelly was a standout: she went 1-for-4 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run. That  triple marked the first that  she has  hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kaylee Paris, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
 Richton  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters  in three consecutive  matches.

Richton's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 10-9.
