Softball Recap: Gwinn Takes a Loss

Gwinn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Negaunee Miners, falling 16-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Modeltowners of the 17-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Gwinn's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Negaunee, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gwinn will square off against Westwood at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Negaunee, they will face off against Kingsford at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
