Recap: West Rowan Falcons vs. A.L. Brown Wonders
The West Rowan Falcons waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against A.L. Brown by a score of 60-48. This was payback for West Rowan, who suffered a 54-50 defeat the last time these two teams met.
West Rowan got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Josiah Young out in front who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and six blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Givens Jr., who scored 12 points along with three steals.
West Rowan's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-7. As for A.L. Brown, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Rowan's road trip will continue as they head out to face East Rowan at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. East Rowan is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak. As for A.L. Brown, they will head out on the road to take on Hickory Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hickory Ridge has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 687 points over their last ten games.
