Meanwhile, Skyline faced Hillcrest in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Grizzlies took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. Skyline's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 13-3-2. As for Idaho Falls, their win bumped their record up to 11-4-3.
