After losing to Slaton the last time they met, Littlefield decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Littlefield walked away with a 13-9 win over Slaton on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Alyssa Torres and Brianna Aleman did most of the damage at the plate: Torres went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Aleman went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Bryndle Ray, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Littlefield hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most three strikeouts in four consecutive matches.

Littlefield's record now sits at 15-5. As for Slaton, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-9.

Coincidentally, Littlefield and Slaton will both be playing Dimmitt the next time they take the field. Littlefield will host Dimmitt at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Slaton will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
