Basketball Recap: Echols County Comes Up Short

Echols County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 60-42 bruising from the Lanier County Bulldogs. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Echols County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Lanier County, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.

Echols County will challenge Community Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lanier County, they will head out to take on Clinch County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Clinch County will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Lanier County surely won't give up without a fight.
