Softball Recap: Terrell Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bishop Lynch on Friday, Terrell came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 19-4 to the Palmer Bulldogs on Friday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2020.

Terrell saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rachel Sommers, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Camilla Frias also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Terrell's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Palmer, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-5.

Terrell has already played their next contest, a 15-0 defeat against Mesquite on the 28th. As for Palmer, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 19-12 win against Bishop Lynch on the 28th.
