Baseball Recap: Excel Falls Short of Wicksburg in the Playoffs

Excel and Wicksburg squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Excel had to settle for second. They lost 18-4 to Wicksburg. Excel just can't catch a break and has now endured nine defeats in a row.

Excel's loss dropped their record down to 9-20. As for Wicksburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-8 record this season.
