Recap: Baldwin Bulldogs vs. Wellsville Eagles
The Baldwin Bulldogs fell victim to the Wellsville Eagles''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 42-0 loss at the hands of the Eagles. The last quarter was a mere formality, since the game's final score was reached by the end of the third quarter.
Wellsville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but William Dorsey led the charge by throwing for 194 yards and four touchdowns. Brody Lee did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 85 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Baldwin's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Wellsville, their win was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-0.
Baldwin will head out on the road to face off against Hayden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hayden will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line. As for Wellsville, they will be playing at home against Perry-Lecompton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
