Basketball Game Preview: Southwest Christian Stars vs. Hutchinson Tigers

The Southwest Christian Stars will face off against the Hutchinson Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Southwest Christian's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Hutchinson has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

Last Saturday, Southwest Christian had just enough and edged St. Croix Lutheran out 64-61. That's two games straight that the Stars have won by exactly three points.

Meanwhile, Hutchinson came up short against Holy Family Catholic on Thursday and fell 57-49.

Southwest Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Hutchinson, their loss dropped their record down to 3-18.

Southwest Christian strolled past Hutchinson when the teams last played back in January by a score of 74-57. Will Southwest Christian repeat their success, or does Hutchinson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
