Basketball Recap: Colman-Egan Takes a Loss

After flying high against Chester last Monday, Colman-Egan came back down to earth. The Colman-Egan C-E Hawks took a 66-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Estelline/Hendricks. The loss continues a trend for the C-E Hawks in their matchups with Estelline/Hendricks: they've now lost six in a row.

Colman-Egan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Estelline/Hendricks, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colman-Egan will welcome Howard at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Howard has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 191 points over their last three matchups. As for Estelline/Hendricks, they and James Valley Christian will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. The timing is sure in Estelline/Hendricks' favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while James Valley Christian has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
