Soccer Recap: West Jones Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten goals the game before, West Jones was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Sumrall Bobcats. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but West Jones couldn't quite close it out.

West Jones' loss dropped their record down to 4-2-2. As for Sumrall, their record now sits at 9-1-1.

West Jones and Sumrall will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Mustangs see the pitch they'll take on Forest Hill at 5:30 p.m. on December 1. As for Sumrall, their break will end when they face North Pike at 6:00 p.m. on December 2.
