Football Recap: Douglas Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Douglas and Cody squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Douglas had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Broncs, falling 40-13. The loss continues a trend for the Bearcats in their meetings with the Broncs: they've now lost six in a row.

Cody found their leader in sophomore Griffin McCarten, who rushed for 90 yards and one score on only 11 carries, and also threw for 41 yards and one TD.

Douglas' defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Cody, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Douglas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cody, they will challenge Riverton on Friday.
