Basketball Game Preview: Airport Eagles vs. Richland Northeast Cavaliers + Official Tickets

Airport is on an 11-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Richland Northeast a five-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Airport Eagles will host the Richland Northeast Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Airport was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 44-40 to Columbia.

Meanwhile, Richland Northeast came up short against Spring Valley on Friday and fell 52-43.

Airport now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Richland Northeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Airport ended up a good deal behind Richland Northeast when the teams last played back in December of 2021, losing 67-49. Thankfully for the Eagles, Twain Wilson (who shot 77% from the field en route to 25 points and three steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
