Soccer Recap: Monte Vista Finishes Even with Villa Park

For the first time this season, Monte Vista was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Villa Park Spartans finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Thursday.

Benjamin Salazar and Anthony Briseno-Raddatz scored both of Monte Vista's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Monte Vista's draw makes their record 4-5-1 this season. As for Villa Park, they moved theirs to 6-1-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Norco the next time they take the pitch. Villa Park will head out to face Norco at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Monte Vista will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
