After flying high against Siloam Springs last Tuesday, Alma came back down to earth. The Airedales came up short against the Shiloh Christian Saints on Friday, falling 13-2. The Airedales' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Alma's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Shiloh Christian, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Coming up, Alma will be playing in front of their home fans against Russellville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cyclones' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Airedales' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Shiloh Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Gentry at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
