Recap: Suitland Rams vs. High Point Eagles
The Suitland Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They walked away with a 69-60 win over High Point. The win was nothing new for Suitland as they're now sitting on five straight.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ibrahim Turay, who scored 23 points along with three steals. That was a full 38.3% of High Point's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Kadan Solomonraj was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds.
Suitland's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for High Point, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Suitland will take on Friendly at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Maryland (Friendly is ranked 209th, while Suitland is ranked 187th). As for High Point, they will be playing at home against Bladensburg at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Bladensburg and High Point are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
