Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dover). They never let the Madison Comprehensive Rams get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory on Thursday. The Crimson Tornadoes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Dover's third in a row) raised their record to 14-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Madison Comprehensive, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-19.

Looking ahead, Dover will look to defend their home field on Friday against Washington at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Crimson Tornadoes 2.3, the Tigers 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
