Recap: South Wake Sabres vs. St. David's Warriors
Even though the St. David's Warriors scored an imposing 58 points on Tuesday, the South Wake Sabres still came out on top. South Wake walked away with a 70-58 win over St. David's. The victory made it back-to-back wins for South Wake.
Leading South Wake to victory were Jacob Webb and Ira Wilson. Webb scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and six assists, while Wilson scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. Another player making a difference was Jackson Jones, who scored 13 points.
South Wake is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for St. David's, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
South Wake will be playing in front of their home fans against O'Neal at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. David's, they will head out on the road to face off against GRACE Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. GRACE Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than St. David's in North Carolina (GRACE Christian is ranked 72nd, while St. David's is ranked 304th).
