Softball Recap: Peninsula Catholic Knights vs. Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins

Peninsula Catholic and Cape Henry Collegiate squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Peninsula Catholic had to settle for second. They came up short against the Dolphins, falling 19-9. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Dolphins earlier this season, when they won 16-8.

Ava O'Shaughnessy-Tong made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Addison Dent was another key player, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
