Volleyball Recap: Oconto Falls Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Oconto Falls had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Kewaskum Indians. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Brylee Gorman paced Oconto Falls' offense, picking up nine kills. Gorman got some help from Izzy Otto and her 23 assists. Lucy Ripley controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Despite the loss, Kewaskum still got an impressive performance from Izzy Boyung, who had ten digs and three aces.

Oconto Falls' victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Kewaskum, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Oconto Falls will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Waupaca at 7:00 p.m. on the 11th. The matchup will give the Panthers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Kewaskum, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Sheboygan South on the 4th.
