While Cactus Shadows's win against Arcadia wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Cactus Shadows won by a run and slipped past Arcadia 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won six in a row.

Molly Brown spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brynna Hoy, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Bailey Fitzmaurice, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Hoy wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Cactus Shadows kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Arcadia only managed four hits.

Cactus Shadows now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Arcadia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-5-1 record this season.

Cactus Shadows will have a chance to go back-to-back against Arcadia: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
