Basketball Recap: Tomahawk Triumphs

Tomahawk hadn't done well against Rib Lake recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Tomahawk Hatchets skirted past the Rib Lake Redmen 37-35. For the Hatchets, this counts as revenge for the 56-23 victory the Redmen walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Tomahawk has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Rib Lake, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-8.

Tomahawk will face off against Rhinelander at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Rib Lake, they will square off against Newman at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Rib Lake is facing Newman at the right time seeing as Newman is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
