Baseball Recap: South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies vs. New Prairie Cougars
While South Bend Saint Joseph put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for New Prairie. The Huskies were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-3 last Thursday.
Jay Nuber tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched.
At the plate, South Bend Saint Joseph got a big performance out of Brody Zielinski, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Brady Langager was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-1.
