Basketball Recap: South Fremont Comes Up Short

South Fremont lost against American Falls back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The South Fremont Cougars took a hard 53-36 fall against the American Falls Beavers. The matchup marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for South Fremont and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for American Falls, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the South Fremont Cougars duke it out with the Snake River Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Snake River will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something South Fremont surely won't give up without a fight. As for American Falls, they will venture away from home to challenge Gooding at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
