South Pointe Christian picks up third straight win on the road

The South Pointe Christian Patriots had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They escaped with a win against Calvary Christian by the margin of a single free throw, 58-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

South Pointe Christian found their leader in underclassman Aiden Arant, who scored 27 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Arant has scored all season. Logan Price was another key contributor, scoring five points along with ten rebounds and eight assists.

South Pointe Christian pushed their record up to 5-5 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for Calvary Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

South Pointe Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Calvary Christian will head out on the road to square off against Southeastern Christian Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Southeastern Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups.
