Basketball Recap: Palmdale Takes a Loss

After flying high against Palmdale Academy Charter School last Monday, Palmdale came back down to earth. The Palmdale Falcons were beaten by the Quartz Hill Royals 73-34 on Wednesday. The game marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Palmdale's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Quartz Hill, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

Palmdale will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on California City at 9:00 a.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Quartz Hill, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Antelope Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Quartz Hill is facing Antelope Valley at the right time seeing as Antelope Valley is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
