Basketball Recap: Bishop Walsh Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hancock last Thursday, Bishop Walsh came back down to earth. The Bishop Walsh Spartans were beaten by the Fort Hill Sentinels 56-10 on Tuesday. The matchup marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Grace Elliot was Bishop Walsh's leading scorer, having posted four points.

Bishop Walsh has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. Fort Hill's victory bumped their record up to 7-9.

Coming up, Bishop Walsh will face off against Paw Paw at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Fort Hill has already played their next matchup (against Frankfort), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
