It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Del Oro can now relate to. They fell 19-8 to the Rocklin Thunder on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 44 points in the game before, the Golden Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

When it comes to explaining why Del Oro lost, don't look at Brennen Gibbs. Despite the final result, he picked up 100 receiving yards and one score.

Rocklin's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Greyson Smith, who picked up 69 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Gered Linder was another key player, rushing for 122 yards.
