Swartz Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 9-2 to the Fenton Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Swartz Creek of the 4-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Swartz Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Fenton, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-3.
