Foothill typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday San Ramon Valley proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Falcons, sneaking past 3-2. The game was the first time the Wolves have beaten the Falcons on their court since August 20, 2022.

San Ramon Valley was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (112-102), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 16-25, 17-25, 25-22, 15-13.

Fia So'oto paced San Ramon Valley's offense, picking up 18 kills. So'oto got some help from Emmy Manter and her 24 assists. Jenna Hunt controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

San Ramon Valley has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That lines up perfectly with their 24-8 record this season. As for Foothill, their loss ended a seven-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-8.
