 Champion stacked  a  16th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Cardinal Mooney Cardinals  a   17-0 shutout. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Champion considering their one-run performance the  game before.
  Gabrielle Gradishar was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Gradishar has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 11 consecutive pitching appearances. Gradishar was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and five  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Sam Strock, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Maddison Sylvester, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2.
 Champion has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record  this season. As for Cardinal Mooney, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost six of their last seven contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record  this season.
 Champion has the luxury  of staying home for another  game and will welcome Berkshire at 2:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Cardinal Mooney does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
