Winfield extended their winning streak to eight on Tuesday, bumping them up to 18-6. They came out on top against the Scott Skyhawks by a score of 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-2 last Monday.

As for Scott, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-6. Considering the last time they couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

For Scott's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kambri Beard, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base. Beard has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.
