Preview: Lebanon Blue Devils vs. Wilson Central Wildcats
Lebanon has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Wilson Central Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Tennessee (Lebanon is ranked 186th, while Wilson Central is ranked 173rd).
Even though Smyrna scored an imposing 55 points on Wednesday, Lebanon still came out on top. Lebanon took their match against Smyrna 68-55.
Wilson Central suffered their biggest loss since December 12, 2023 two weeks ago. They were the victim of a tough 68-46 loss at the hands of Cookeville. Wilson Central has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Lebanon's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Wilson Central, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-11.
Lebanon strolled past Wilson Central in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 by a score of 52-36. Will Lebanon repeat their success, or does Wilson Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
