Baseball Recap: Delavan Comes Up Short

Delavan lost against Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockets.

Delavan saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braden Arrenholz, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

Delavan dropped their record down to 13-12 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-9 record this season.

Delavan will take on Olympia at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Roanoke-Benson/Lowpoint-Washburn, they will challenge Peoria Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
