Football Recap: Sunset Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sunset lost against White back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bison were outmatched by the Longhorns and fell 51-7. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Sunset had strong showings from Giselle Sheffield, who picked up 126 receiving yards and one score, and Dafne Briones, who threw for 150 yards and one TD on only 14 passes.

Sunset now has a losing record of 3-4. As for White, they moved to 4-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Sunset will be playing at home against Turner at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bison will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for White, they will take on Molina at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. The Longhorns will be up against the Jaguars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51.71 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
