Topsail won the last time they faced Coastal Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pirates blew past the Centurions 3-0.

Topsail never let Coastal Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 26-24.

Topsail was led to victory by Sydney King and Hannah Losey. King had five digs and three aces, while Losey had 22 assists and six digs.

The victory got Topsail back to even at 1-1. As for Coastal Christian, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-4.

Topsail wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against D.H. Conley on the 19th. As for Coastal Christian, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Southeastern HomeSchool on the 15th.
