Volleyball Game Preview: Lake Wales Highlanders vs. Lakeland Dreadnaughts

The Lake Wales Highlanders will challenge the Lakeland Dreadnaughts at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeland took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Lake Wales, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Lake Wales turned things around against Roosevelt Academy on Thursday. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lake Wales took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Lakeland lost 3-0 to George Jenkins on Monday. The Dreadnaughts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Lakeland ultimately came up short, they really made George Jenkins work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 26-24, 25-14.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-11. As for Lakeland, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-11.
