Basketball Game Recap: Covenant Christian Eagles vs. Belgreen Bulldogs

Covenant Christian lost against Belgreen on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Covenant Christian Eagles might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 53-36 to the Belgreen Bulldogs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 382nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 119th).

Covenant Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-20 record this season. As for Belgreen, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 24-8.

Both are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Covenant Christian has already played their next contest (against Sulligent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Belgreen will take on Lamar County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
