University School of Jackson extended the longest winning streak in Division II A - West District 2 this week by beating First Assembly Christian, 49-6. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Bruins.

University School of Jackson took down the Crusaders 49-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Ryan Garner threw for 123 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

Mickey Marley's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Powers Spencer chipped in 67 yards. Hollen Spencer helped University School of Jackson's passing attack out by catching two balls for 33 yards.

Spencer was the best wideout in the league this week as the Bruins beat First Assembly Christian. Spencer racked up four receptions for 42 yards.

University School of Jackson's Garner and Austin Orr have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Garner has thrown for 1548 yards this season, while Orr has 48 catches for 665 yards. Fayette Academy's Marcus Miller leads the league in rushing yards with 771.

Two of the top units in Division II A - West District 2 will face off this week when the Bruins take on St. George's. University School of Jackson's offense has recorded 288 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while the Gryphons have permitted only 59 on the year.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,484 from 12,916. The advance stemmed from a 13-0 victory over Middleton last week.
