Gateway College Preparatory won the last time they faced Taylor and things went their way on Thursday too. The Gators walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Ducks.

Chloe Ellis made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 17 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
