While East Grand Rapids was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-22.

Their offense was headlined by Coco Bossardet and Finley Grashuis, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Heidi White and her 11 assists. Kenzee Stanley-Eldred controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

East Grand Rapids has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 27-14-5 record this season. As for Mona Shores, they pushed their record up to 28-6 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home.
