Basketball Recap: Monsignor Donovan Catholic Takes a Loss

Monsignor Donovan Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Westminster Christian Academy Lions and fell 45-14. The Rams were probably out for revenge after losing 53-6 to them when the teams met back in November of 2020, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Monsignor Donovan Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Westminster Christian Academy, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-3.

Monsignor Donovan Catholic will square off against Edmund Burke Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 21st. As for Westminster Christian Academy, they will take on Augusta Prep Day at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
