Softball Recap: Amanda-Clearcreek Aces vs. Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs

Amanda-Clearcreek extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping their season record down to 7-11 in the process. They came up short against the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs, falling 15-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-4 back in April.

Casadee Steinmetz made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Looking ahead, Amanda-Clearcreek will host Southeastern at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bloom-Carroll, they will head out to challenge Hayes at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 3.1, the Pacers 1.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
